
Software Implementation Consultant
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual who lives in the Eastern Time Zone to join our growing US team as a Software Implementation Consultant. To be successful in the role you will have experience in implementing enterprise-level Learning Management Systems or SaaS applications. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on delivering successful projects and is passionate about consulting.
As an imc Software Implementation Consultant, you will play a key role in deploying new customer projects and supporting existing clients with ongoing work packages for our leading Learning Management System and other software solutions
Here's what you'll do
- Implement and roll out imc's Learning Management System.
- Facilitate workshops with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solution options.
- Analyse customer requirements to create solution designs and detailed specification documents.
- Configure software according to specifications.
- Define and set up interfaces (e.g., batch .csv, SSO, API).
- Develop test cases, conduct end-to-end testing, and assist customers in their testing processes.
- Diagnose system errors, report issues, and test fixes.
- Manage projects using both waterfall and agile methodologies.
- Deliver training workshops and coaching sessions for customer teams.
- Support pre-sales activities by conducting demos, presentations, technical tender responses, and pitches.
Here's what you'll need
- Minimum of 3 years of experience implementing enterprise-level Learning Management Systems or SaaS applications.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage scope, time, and budget effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with customers.
- Ability to lead functional and technical meetings/workshops confidently.
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team setting.
- Familiarity with SQL database-driven web applications.
- Knowledge of SSO solutions, APIs, and interfacing protocols is advantageous.
